System Password in OS 9.1

Hello All,

Please Help!!!

We currently have an older Mac with OS 9.1 that controls our CNC machine. We use it very seldom, but the old programmer has left the company and we do not know his password.

Is there a way to bypass the user password in OS 9.1 to get into the system??

Plase help and thanks in advance!!

Don't bump your thread every couple of minutes. If there's an answer, it will come. It's considered very rude to bump it all the time.
 
See if you can boot while holding the Shift key down. If you can, go into the System Folder/Preference Folder and trash the Multi User Preferences.
