I don't exactly know what I did, but my system preferences is gone. It doesn't appears anything when I search for it on the spotlight and when I click on it on the left corner it does nothing. I'm traveling right know so I don't have the CD's to reinstall so can someone please please please help me? I'm now running Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard.

Calm down. Are you sure that you have not just moved System Preferences from the Dock? The only way to your System Preferences to really be gone is for you to have taken affirmative measures to remove it from your system. The utility is owned by the root account. Unless you are running as root, then MacOS X requires you to jump through several hoops to delete root folders and files. System Preferences should remain in the root-level Applications folder of your system.

Clarification: You say that nothing happens when you click on System Preferences. Single-click on System Preferences. Press [cmd]+[ i ]. What does it say?
