Temporary Internet Items in Camino - Snow Leopard

Took a look around but couldn't seem to find a solution to my particular query.

I have just recently changed from using an iMac g4 with Tiger, to a Macbook Pro with Snow Leopard. A while back a friend of mine made a shortcut to the temporary internet items on my iMac, so that I would be able to save flash files like youtube videos to watch on my computer instead of in the browser because they were lagging so much. Now that I've changed the shortcut doesn't work and I was just wondering if anyone knew how to access the temporary internet items in Snow Leopard, because even though they don't lag anymore it's still nice to be able to save videos. I primarily use Camino to browse.

Since your running Camino might be easier to do this. Head over to anyone of the Mac download sites and search "Youtube downloader". You'll find a number of them both free and paid. I have used"Mac Tubes" in the past and it worked well for me.

Would this work for any temporary flash file that is loaded in the browser though? It's not just youtube that I use it for. Actually it's one way that I get around megavideo's limits... load the video then save it without watching it in the browser.

Well, you're going to need something different to handle all flash videos. In the past I've used RealPlayer Downloader. It's a component of RealPayer. It will save requested flash videos to file for you and play them back as well and it will convert them to another format as well. There are others out there for sure but this is the only one I have used.
