text overlapping on website...first time mac user...

on opening this webpage, all the text on top are overlapped together. i tried decreasing the text size and the window maximizing but still rows of texts are overlapping.

this also happened on my xanga site, where i tried to upload pictures and i could not see certain links bc the overlaps hid some buttons.

how do i fix this problem?

this is my first mac (mac book pro core 2 duo) and i only had it for 2 weeks so a detailed explanation to fix this would be really great....
 
A very important piece of information here will be what browser you are using. Also a screen shot would be helpful (Apple+Shift+3 for the whole screen, Apple+Shift+4 to get only a selection.)
 
Mine does it too.

Safari 2.0.4 on a 17 inch Apple LCD screen. Quicksilver G4 running 10.4.8.

Same on Firefox.

I'm confused about what's wrong in both of those images... Could one of you point out the problem more closely?

EDIT: sgould changed his screen shot, now I see the issue. It does that for me on Safari also, probably Safari and FireFox don't like part of the CSS that's being used, cause Camino doesn't have the same problem. I only see it in Safari while logged in, so that narrows it down a little. You could post something in the Site Discussion forum if it really bothers you.
 
i have 15.4 macbook pro with safari 2.04
i cant use certain websites bc of this problem...
should i use another browser?
anyone have a solution for this?

That's a fault with this site, it's the same for me in Safari, Firefox, Opera, Flock and Vienna. Camino is OK. Some sites are just not very well set up CSS wise.
