Yes, my friend has an iMac and we're gonna install Mac OS X in a few days time. Any software anybody can suggest?

Because I can't get Mac OS X for a few days, I was wondering if there was somewhere where you could download a PDF of the Mac OS X instruction manual or if somebody could scan all the pages and send them to me coz I love Mac OS X and I wanna read the manual!

sorry, i think veljo is just excited about macosx. I read the manual before i installed it. and then reread it after having installed. I also read every 'readme' before i install any software. i notice that a lot of questions people ask about are covered in those. they save you a lot of heart ache sometimes.

a mac is not a gamestation. i know many of you grew up putting games into the nintendo or sega and just playing. which is fine to an extent. you can't break anything that way. you also miss some of the finer details of the game and sometimes spend hours figuring out what was explained on page 2 of the manual.

on the other hand the idea of searching apple.com before posting such a request seems obvious to me. but maybe our new friend is still too new to realize all the rich resources available there. still, i didn't go searching for him when i was among the first to read his post.;)
 
Oh yeah, I read the manual before I installed X as well. It's just that he's made several posts questions OS X and Apple in general .. it just doesn't seem like he's an actual Mac user from his posts.
