The Dock

Is it possible to lock the items in the dock, so the cannot be removed or added too ?

Good question, i tend to remove things by accident, such a pain.

You have to specify the privledges in the user's account setup. The user cannot be an admin. Create a new user or modify an existing "limited" user by selecting the user and then clicking the "Capabilities" button. There you will see many options including "Remove items from the dock" Uncheck this and then that user cannot remove items. I believe they are not able to add as well.

I don't want any other user but me, so thats not an option for me.

Urbansory...I don't think you need another user. Just turn off the "Remove from Dock" capability for your own username.
