The Matrix: Rebooted & The Matrix: Revolutions

I saw Star Wars Episode II this morning. One of the previews was for the next two Matrix movies.

They look awsome. I hope they post the trailer at Apple.com soon.

reloaded is the first sequel, revolutions the second.

Is it normal to announce two sequels at once? They must be pulling a Star Wars

It's normal if your releasing them side by side.

i think the next two matrix's will not be as good. the story line cant be as good. it will be a big action flick thats all

I've heard people who have read the scripts say that The Matrix 2 is twices as good as The Matrix 1 and the The Matrix 3 is twice as good as The Matrix 3.

Yeah, I was watching them, I can't wait.

Keanu Reeves said that the first movie was about birth, the second is about life, and the third is about death.

From what I could see of the teaser, it looked like the cinematography was REALLY much better done... that scene with the pigeons (and the staircase thing) was absolutely beautiful...

I can't wait! I think it's kind of neat that they seem to be moving more towards fighting in real places, no just off of some random cluttered ship in the bottom of a sewer vent...

And yes, I have heard from many previewers that the second and third movies are FAR more exciting and interesting, both in the action and in the ideas they present. We'll have to see! (gah! another year, though...)
