Hi, I expect most of you have probably already found info on this but I've only just seen it.

I suppose when you're as big as MS problems can be expected - but why is it always something sinister with them? If you want to dominate the world say so and set out to do it.
However, my personal thoughts go with the 'Who do you fear more?' message link at the bottom of the page. While I kind of expect MS to try it on like it's some sort of game, everybody forgets the so-much-more serious aspects of .gov digging around in our cyber-pants.
Of course, here's the contradiction - how much privacy are you willing to give up for the sake of your personal and nation's security?
At my age (44 going on 14) and with my experience, I get closer and closer to sticking two fingers up to the cyber-biz, selling up, buying a crumpled white suit and living in a shack on a desert island as 'British Cultural Attache' (sorry Dame Edna). Especially when government departments feel like they're missing out on something and quietly start engulfing as much as they can get their hands on.
That is, If I weren't too busy making money out of it
Sorry, the original article triggered me off.
(End of lager-induced whine)
