I understand the Airport 3.1 drivers have support for third-party Wi-Fi PC cards that use the same Broadcom chipset that Apple's. I hear lots of recommendations for Buffalo's 802.11g cardbus card--but a local store has D-Link's AirPlus 54g on sale this week, and I've been waiting for an opportunity to get cheap Airport Extreme on my TiBook.
Anyone know if D-Link's 802.11g card works with Airport 3.1?
...but still not as cheap as the D-Link one after rebate. If, however, I can't find any proof of the D-Link's compatibility while the sale's on, I'll probably go with the OWC; thanks for the link.
