So I'm sitting in my living room messing with my iBook and realize I need something off of my PC. Well, I could connect to my PC using SMB but that wouldn't give me access to what I needed because its only set to mount a specific folder.
Needless to say, I get to wishing that there was a way I could bring up my Windows desktop on my Mac so I could, one, find the file i needed and two, move the file to the correct folder without having to physically go to my PC to do it.
No sooner did I head over to http://mac.fryke.com to see if there was anything new did I find out there is a way, Remote Desktop Connection! This is way too cool. I can login to my PC and bring up my desktop! I knew there was software to do such a thing but never did I realize it was free and that Microsoft made it!
Anyway, you can read more about it here.
