Hi, I'm stumped here.
I set up a wireless network using a Belkin PRE-N Wireless Router with WPA PSK encryption. Most of the computers on the network are using Panther or Tiger.
I use Panther. When I went to System Preferences>Network>Add Location and put in a new location, SSID, and WPA Password, everything worked beautifully.
I did the same to another computer running Panther with the same results, everything worked.
When doing this with one Tiger computer (up-to-date), after entering the new location, SSID, and WPA Password, the System Preferences crashed. Starting the System Preferences>Network>Location>Airport causes the System Preferences to crash.
We performed this same procedure with a second Tiger computer, with the same results. Adding the location, SSID, and WPA Password caused it to crash. Then restarting System Preferences and going to Location>Airport causes it to crash.
We can go to the Built-In Ethernet drop down, and other drop downs, but going to the Airport drop down causes it to crash.
We even tried rebooting, using Keychain First Aid to repair keychains, and neither worked.
Any ideas?
