time to boot gets longer and longer

hi there,

i have a g4/400 powerbook and i installed os x on it (10.2).

in the beginning the boot process was quite fast but now it takes more and more time.

especially the first part: til the blue screen shows up where all the services are starting.

does anybody know, how to speed things up? are there any files or folders to be deleted regularily?

thx
patrick

One possibility is that your disk is getting fuller and harder to fsck over time. Start while holding down command-v to see the good old unix boot sequence and see if you can figure out what is taking so long.
