tip for OSX

Hi all, I am looking for a command line modem controller, such as tip which I use under Solaris. Does anyone know if there is a OSX port of tip, or an equivalent. I already have a copy of Zterm, but I require a command line interface which Zterm cannot provide. My appologies if this question has already been covered, but I couldn't find any similar posts.

I've been looking for the same thing, and haven't found it yet.

I'm away from my osx box (its disconnected from the internet at the moment), but the internal modem on the G4's does appear in /dev/cu.modem or something.

It should be possable to compile something like minicom (popular gnu terminal emmulator) under osx, though I'm not sure if anyone's tried yet.

Let me know if you find anything out.
