To get dual 20" cinema's or not...

So I'm at the point where I've got the funds to afford dual 20" cinema displays if I so choose. And I've been telling myself for the past few months that if I ever had enough money to do so...I would. But then I got out the tape measure last night and measured just how wide 40" (plus the edges of the actual monitor) would be...MY GOSH. Seriously, over 3" of pure monitor goodness. I do design (print/web) full time and love my current setup of dual 17" (off brand) monitors but would kill to have a couple of Apple displays.

All that being said, does anybody else have dual 20" displays (or bigger)? And if so, how do you like the setup? As of right now I already feel like my mouse has to make a nice trek just to get from the left side of one screen to the right side of the other. Any thoughts?

I had a couple of the old style monitors (one 22" and one 23") - they worked beautifully together...

I've got them in Dubai at the moment, and I'm using one of the new 23" HD displays over here in Thailand. I'm definitely getting another one to go with it - I really miss the extra screen space!

If you're finding the trek from one screen to the other a bit much, perhaps you could increase the speed of the mouse tracking?

You'll gather - I recommend the setup you're suggesting!!!
