Hi folks,
I have a G3 Wallstreet with .5GB memory and an upgrade from original 300MHz CPU to 466. Running X 10.1.3.
I having trouble waking from sleep - the screen seems to come on at about 5% of normal brightness, not enough to see what you're doing. Happens both on battery and on wall power. I have Energy Saver set to never go to sleep (so sleeping mostly happens when I close the lid), with separate timing for screen sleep set at 60 minutes.
When the problem happens, I re-boot. First, is there a faster way to get the screen back? Second, I recall some threads on this problem - was there a solution(s) suggested?
Thanks for suggestions.
