Too many icons in the menubar that i can't figure out how to delete!

Hi, I'm extremely lost on this issue, and it is the first problem that Ive had with MacOSX since the public beta. Not all the items in my menubar (like the little applescript icon that appeared after i clicked on applescript menu) seem to have an obvious way of being removed. In fact, I have 2 seperate applescript icons, an eject icon, a PPP icon, and a bluetooth icon i would like to remove. I deleted OS9 a long time ago, so I wouldn't be able to access that to fix this problem. Any suggestions?
