Transferring from Jag iMac to a Panther G4 iBook

Will I run into any complications copying over all my Mail, iCal, and other apps and preferences from a imac running 10.2.8 to my back ordered iBook G4 running Panther?

The apps are going to be updated, so why copy them over? Just copy yoru home folder, which contains all your documents and preferences.

Yep. Stay away from copying the apps, unless it's apps not installed on Panther by default...

right so all my contacts, dates, and emails should be fine if I just copy over all of my home. cool easy enough.
