Transporting my iMac G5 to school...

I need to take my iMac G5 on the plane with me to go to college this semester.

I am so scared of breaking something, and i don't have the origional box that it came in.

Has anyone managed to do this safely? What is the safest way to go?

I'd get a sturdy cardboard box 6 inches bigger all the way around. Get a strong plastic bag big enough to completely cover the thing, tape it up and put it in the box with styrofoam chips all around.
