First time poster, be kind. :)

Got a g3/233 in the other day and tried to OC it to 300 via the jumpers. At first it booted perfectly fine and I was surfing the web, doing some photoshop work, etc. Then I rebooted and now all I get upon turning it on is a blank grey screen showing my cursor. Doesnt get to a "happy/sad face"....just sits there at a blank grey screen.

I switched the jumpers back and it still does this. What did I do and how can i fix this?

Thanks, I'll be checking and will answer more questions if needed.

If you get a gray screen, and you an move the cursor, the processor obviously still works, so it's probably not hardware damage.
Try to zap the pram by holding down command, alt, p and r on startup (right after you hear the startup sound). Keep the keys pressed down until you've heard the startup chime two times, then release them.
If it will still not boot, the contents on your HD could be corrupted. Try starting from a CD.
If that doesn't work, try leaving your machine with the battery and power cable disconnected for some time. Usually an hour should be enough, but if it still won't boot, try leaving it unplugged overnight.

Hope that helps :)
