Trouble Booting Up after 3ivx Install

I installed 3ivx to try and view some AVI files which ended up locking up my system. I rebooted and it took forever to get to the login prompt. It sat there after I entered my password and never went in. Rebooted again and it's stuck on the Apple logo.

I booted up into the console using Command-S and ran /sbin/fsck -yf and got the following results...

** Checking catalog file.
Incorrect block count for file .GlobalPreference.plist
(It should be 1 instead of 0)
Incorrect block count for file com.apple.Components2.SystemCache.QuickTimeComponents
(It should be 16 instead of 0)
disck0s2: I/O error.
Invalid node structure
(4, 21322)
** The volume Macintosh HD could not be verified completely.
/dev/rdisk0s2 (hfs) EXITED WITH SIGNAL 0

Should I just run the restore utility on the disk or is there something I can do to revert the 3ivx drivers?

I was able to boot up into the Install Utility with the Install DVD. I went to Disk Utility and tried to Verify Disk which ended up failing on the same messages as stated above.
