Trouble starting OSX

Hello!

I have a problem with my OS X installation! It always crashes during startup the first time and if i press the reset button OS X starts up just fine. It is G4 400 AGP and it seems to be a kernel error. Don't know if this holds information enough but any tip is welcome!

there are several threads on the site which connect this problem to itunes helper and other carbon apps in your StartupItems folder. removing them can help. I have also recently connected this behavior to having a cd in the drive during boot. if i manually eject it, it starts clean every time.
