turning off os9 extensions no longer needed

PowermacG4_450

OS X Jaguar
I want to speed up classic booting under X..... ive read that turning off control panels and extensions can help.

which ones can I safely turn off?

I dont use 9 much except for a few games and non internet apps...

can quicktime be turned off, or deleted, since I have quicktime on my X hard drive?

seems I have lots of system folder duplicates... can I ditch the ones under 9?

Technically Appearance is the only extension you CAN NOT remove (in my experience that is). All the others should be removable although I suggest leaving quicktime and most networking extensions along with all removable media drivers present.

PS: If you screw sth up it shouldn't be a problem since you can just put the extension back by purring them back in your OS X environment ...
