Tutorials/Links for info on MAC-PC connectivity?

Hi - I'm a long time windows user, and just got so frustrated with Vista I ordered a Mac Mini - it arrives in 2 days and I can't wait. My questions:
  1. I'm looking for info and products re PC/MAC connectivity. Specifically - remote control of a Mac (panther) from an XPpc (via Internet). I'm familiar with vnc - is that a good option? Are there other products (free/pay) I should look at?
  2. Are there recommended sites for 'mac freeware' and/or technical issues? Macosx.com is great - but I'm assuming there are a few other good sites I should be aware of.
  3. One other question - about RAM upgrades. Can I add RAM (to my 1gb Mini) without creating warranty problems? I buy a lot of PC stuff from newegg - any recommendations for other mac upgrade sources?

Thanks

Not sure about 1. but I have a few on the other two:

2. macfixit.com
apple.com discussion boards

3. RAM won't void your warranty unless you start trying to add more than the machine is rated for (more than the motherboard will hold). It used to be that you had to alternate your RAM, rather than putting them in sequentially, but I think that's changed to sequential. Go here to find out more about your computer and how far you can upgrade it:
