Hi there,

There are at the moment only external Tv-cards ( FIRE-Wire ! )from Formac with OS X support . but there verry expensive € 600,- euro's in Europe

i dont know how much in the USA ?

There is a German PCI TV Tuner available at Gravis .

If you click on the picture to look at the specs you will notice a picture that shows the tuner being used in OS X! I hope this gets Formac off their arse and do something about their PCI TV Tuner. If Gravis can do it, so can Formac. Also note, don't confuse Gravis.de with Gravis the game controller maker.

Also this tread was not removed, but moved to Mac hardware forum. I posted information about BTV Pro and that they have a list of supported devices and they give links to all the TV tuner makers that they know of and comment on what is supported on them.

Well, not yet. Take a second look at the pic! Its OS 9 with a blue background! Well the page says the drivers are worked on!

arrgghhh... Tricked again. I didn't bother to click on the image to enlarge. I just saw the aqua theme and assumed. Thanks for pointing it out.

Well, at least the drivers are on their way. That's better than what Formac has to say. Last I heard they were looking into how badly their customers want it and that if enough people want OS X support, they will update the drivers for a fee.

Yup, that's OS 9. Looks sorta like OS X though.

I wish TV-Tuner makers would get out of Classic Land and notice at what Apple has been stressing for the last two years.

Your thread ended up in hardware. Where hardware discussions take place. Continue thread over there please...
