Thanks!!!

can you run 2 external monitors, short answer, no. longer answer, maybe. there is a dvi and s-video, but the manual does not say that you can use both at the same time. but then, it doesn't say you can't either. and i know there are video pc cards, but if there are any mac compatible ones, i don't know.
as far as the 30'', i don't think it can, i think you need a macbook pro to do that.

Actually, the PowerBook has been able to run Dual-Link DVI monitors (30" Cinema) for a while now. The second revision of the (15" and 17" only) 1.5GHz models and the later 1.67 GHz models (the ones without DDR2-RAM) can do it, so can the newer HD versions (those with DDR-2).

I've never tried running external screens on both the DVI out and the s-video, but I'm pretty sure its doable. In fact I'm almost positive an acquaintance does it daily with the s-video feeding a projector and the DVI port feeding a 23" Cinema in his company's meeting room (its setup for the people in facing away from the screen towards the crowd).

You might be able to have two external displays running at the same time, but one would be mirrored.
Apple says that the powerbook supports dual displays, and video mirroring.
Might have to use something like this: http://www.villagetronic.com/e_pr_vtbook.html

Obviously, try before you buy. Your local apple store should know.
