I just built a trial Web Log using TypePad, the Premier Web Log Author from the people that brought you Moveable Type.
The First Page went well, the second page went well until I added a couple of photo's- Then -
And this is really wierd-
The machine I was using to built the log, my G4 ( Chrome Drive Bay ) running OS X v.10.2.6 and using ( primarily ) MS IEx for Mac 5.2.2, showed the layout as one long strung-out single column instead of the three columns I specified.
I doubled-checked it on my Pentium4m Gateway 650XL ( Desktop Replacement ) running MS XP pro and the latest build of Internet Explorer, and it also showed one single, long, strung-out column.
My G3, running OS X v.10.2.6 showed it as the three-columns that I specified, as did Safari on both machines.
Amaya on the XP indicated that there were som XML errors, but it restored them using straight HTML and then showed the three-column layout I specified.
The question is:
Why are the two Power Mac's, running the same OS and using the same MS IEx for Mac Browser, showing two totally different configurations on a Web page?
What does:
<A HREF="http://singulus.typepad.com/breathing_" > Page Two</A>
<A HREF="http://singulus.typepas.com/living"> Page One </A>
