I hope I'm posting in the right place about my question.
I want to burn CD from the MP3 that I downloaded, but just wondering if I can play it on the normal CD player, will it be copy as mp3 or other files? Also is there anyway to make the CD playable on the norman CD player?
Pls help me as I want to burn CD for a christmas pressy and I have no idea. thank you!

The way to burn it to a plain Audio CD (and lets just assume you got this Mp3 legitimately, OK) is to make a new playlist in iTunes, put the songs on that you want burnt to the CD, check "Burning" in the iTunes preferences has been set to "Audio CD". Select the playlist and click "Burn". Viola, mate.

Hint: When you're making the playlist, just drag songs from your library to it. Drag them into the order that you want, and check that the time for the playlist (which is at the bottom of the window) is less than the time for the CD. So for a 70 min CD, make sure your playlist window shows less than 70mins in the info at the bottom of the window.

(If you burn an Mp3 from the finder, you just end up with a CD-Rom that has the Mp3 file on it, which is no use on 99% of CD players.)

unless you have one of the 1% like my Panasonic SL MP70... sweet!

Here, fully 50% of all cd devices sold play mp3s
