Unable to open iphoto from dock.

Hallo there
When i click on the iphoto icon in the dock it will not open for me to view or add any photos.

The machine is an imac G4 OSX 10.2.8 with the original 125 ghz processor & 256mb memory. I have never had this problem before. It was purchased in 2003.

Any ideas ?

Delete the icon in the dock by just dragging it off--it will go 'poof' Then drag, from the applications folder in your HD, the icon of iPhoto to the same place on the dock.

Occasionally, updated dock icons (actually an alias) will not associate with the actual app.

Thanks for your help.
I remember dragging the icon from the dock (cant think why) and as u say it just went "poof".

There is not an iphoto icon in my applications, thats the first thing I checked.

Afraid I dont know much about computers.
