In the Mac mail.app when I search all mailboxes or individual mail boxes for a word or phrase the "search entire message" option is grayed out and inaccessible although all the other search options are available like "from," "to," and "subject." I've checked the mail.app preferences and don't see an option to change this. I have used this feature frequently in the past and this problem just surfaced recently - within the past three or four days. I haven't made any recent changes to my system and all my OS software including the mail.app is up to date. How can I reinstate this handy find/search feature? I would appreciate any help at all. I really need this feature.
