Universal Records 10% jobloss

I heard through the radio that Universal Records marketleader and my recordcompany has taken this decision. Universal Records says that sales are bad because people are copying music instead of buying. The best known artist from Universal is Eminem.

Don't mix everything up.

1) Stealing music is stealing. It's illegal and is not a way to build anything serious. BTW in Switzerland downloading music is legal and sharing is illegal.

2) People don't buy music because
2.a) they don't have enough money
2.b) they use their money for other purposes (cell phone...)
2.c) they have no time left to listen to this music (too much time in front of the TV, playing Xbox and PSII, or surfing the Internet)
2.d) they don't like the standardized music that is proposed by majors
