"Unlocking" in the trash

After my 30-day Adobe Photoshop Elements trial, I removed it from my system. In the trash, I got rid of mostly everything. Except for a few folders. When I try to delete them, a message in the trash progress says that the item is locked.
How can I fix it and delete it?

if yor absolutely sure you dont need them you can try typing rm(space) in the terminal then dragging them in the terminal window, there path will appear, then press return and i believe they will disappear. This is very final so be careful nothing else gets in there

Open the terminal and type:

cd ~/.Trash
<hit return>

sudo rm -rf

put a space after the f and drag the item you want deleted to the terminal so that its path is automatically entered, then press return

It's probably easier to just hold down the alt (option) key when emptying the trash. That will delete anything without asking, unless the objects are in use.
