upgrading PowerBook G3, suggestions?

Hi I have a G3 PowerBook (firewire) 400MHz, 384MB, 9GB, 10.1.5 I want to get some more performance out of it. According to Apple the max ram is 512MB. What other upgrades could I add to get it running faster. I'm not too keen on the G4 processor upgrades that I have seen around though.

There's not much else you can do, unless you are handy with a soldering iron. Move a couple of jumpers and you got yourself a 500mhz unit.
