I have erroneously deleted thousands of emails from my gmail server onto apple Mail and need to upload them back on (as to not store them on the computer, for security purposes). Is there a quick way to do this? I have searched and found email uploading gadgets for windows email programs, but not for Mail. Help.
Alternatively, if I cannot get these back onto the server efficiently, I'd like to at least store these emails on an external drive. Is there a way to store email contents outside of the email program--I cannot seem to copy messages directly into folders that I can drag onto my external drive. Sounds amateur, I know.
