urgent, Quake 3 for iMac G5

Dear community,
I have a LAN organised this weekend, and i plan on going with my new G5 iMac. I have a version of Quake3 for Mac, but it doesnt want to launch on MacOS X 10.4. (Tiger)

I have installed the MacOS 9.2 Classic Support, but it stills doenst load.. i have never played it on a Macintosh, i am new to the system, and unfortunately, i have to get it ready by Saturday evening !!


Could you please give me a hand?

Quickest reply ever, and from Australia ! great.

Well, i installed the update, the game runs, so thats a good thing. But the cursor inside the game is not on top of the macOS x mouse, its really far away.

And the graphics mess up too. Whats to try to resolve this?

Have anyone run it properly? or will it always run like crap on a MacOS X 10.4 because its too old?

OK i made Quake3 run.

Does anyone have an idea on how to play Quake3 at the iMac 20" native resolution?

I found out :

r_mode -1
r_customheight "y" (number of pixels)
r_customwidth "x" (number of pixels)
