Urgent - Two Osx Systems

i have a mini mac and have osx 10.4.5 on it. additional i need osx 10.3 installed, because i need to work with indesign cs (there is no kookai 2000 - thai language support - update for indesign cs2 yet). is it possible to install two systems with the opyion to choose when restarting???

during my installation it says that, if installing a new system, the old will be moved to a folder "previous system" and i can't restart with this system. any help out there - i would be glad.

InDesign CS will work on 10.4.5 (it works when i use it anyway ), also, CS and CS2 work fine together, they don't disrupt each other.

i would say install Indesign CS1 along with the existing CS2 and see if that solves your problems.

to install 10.3 + 10.4 on that machine now would envolve partitioning the drive, which means wiping the disk and starting again. it envolves a lot of downtime as you reconfigure all the system to work again.

i would try installing CS1 beside CS2 and see if that works. what is it exactly that you want to do?

'... to install 10.3 + 10.4 on that machine now would involve partitioning the drive' - or, purchase an external FireWire hard disk drive, hdd, and install 'Panther' (MacOS X 10.3.x) onto it.

The 'miniMate' by MicroNet is no better than any other external FireWire hdd; however, it is design to match the look and dimensions of the Mac Mini, as well as, sit directly beneath the Mac Mini.

I am assuming you have a PowerPC based Mac Mini. If not, that is you have an Intel based Mac Mini, then the Mac Mini will not be able to boot from MacOS X 10.3.x.
