This is a crazy uni!!!
My desktop mac and the rest of the computers in my office are offline
My desktop mac & streaming server are connected to one ethernet jack, and the other mac & PeeCees are on another one...
The weird thing is that the jack on the opposite wall of all these jacks is quite active and useful, using an iBook now to write this message...
what the heck is going on>

The only common denominator is that I used the peecees and my desktop mac to check out myh streaming server...but how could that effect web access???? (my filemaker app connects to the filemaker server so its not a total black out) ...weird!!!

It seems the minute I plugged in the ibook in the other jack, the stupid things all turned on and worked --- this university is crazy (we need a better IT department ahahhahahaa )
