URL for apple update?

I acquired a used mac. The software update is pointing to an old software update service (SUS) server. I found and opened com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.plist. Blanked out URL of the old SUS server. However, it wants some kind of URL in those fields. Do I want Apple's update service URL in there and if so, can you supply? Thanks...

Answering my own question here: Enter Finder/network/Mac HD/Library/Preferences. In the list you will find an abbreviated filename com.apple...date.plist for com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.plist. Drag it to the desktop (can be trashed at your convenience). Try the update mechanism again. You will hopefully get past the "Software Update can't find the update server" error as long as you have a working internet connection and then ask you to log in as system administrator. It pre-loads the user name of sys admin and asks for that user's password. Then it asks for agreement on software licensing. Downloads all files selected first, then runs the update for all files downloaded.
