USB Cameras and OS X?

I have two old USB cameras from my Windows days, one is a Lego Robotics cam, and the other is a logitech web cam. Is their any way to get these to hook up with my os x 10.4 computer? I tried mac cam, but it (the capture screen) just stayed black.
 
Cool! That works! It's not free, but I guess it's the only thing that works.

EDIT: Apparently, maccam does work, but you need to press the "play" button to start it?
