USB Print Sharing in X?

Is there USB print sharing in OS X? If it's not part of the system, are there any 3rd-party utilities available to put that feature in? Does it work in classic, maybe?

There is no built-in USB printer sharing in OS X. I doubt it works in Classic, but have a go at it. And as far as I know, I haven't seen any other USB Sharing third-party utilities that work natively in OS X.

So there's no Linux/BSD/other *Nix-flavor app that could be compiled under X to run as a USB print server?

Who's about to upgrade to X, and needs an answer to this and other X-related questions...as soon as I think of 'em

if there are any third party apps, the places to look would be www.versiontracker.com or www.macupdate.com. i would swear i have seen an app for this but since it is not something i would need i wouldn't have paid that close attention.

I had the same problem last night, if you have an epson printer, you can download extra software on the epson-site.

I know you can download X drivers for just about any recent model of Epson printer, but I'm looking for software that will duplicate the USB print sharing of OS 9.1-9.2.X...
