USB to ethernet adapter to share printer?

is there a device that would allow one to share a HP 7550 Photosmart by adapting the USB to ethernet and putting that to a router?
 
The device you are looking for is a printserver. It's a "box" where you can plug printers over the parallel or usb port. Plug the printserver to your router and there goes your network printer.
 
mostly everything that is network related will work on almost all current platforms and operating systems.
