User Folder Access?!?!

Hi.

We have an IMac and MacBook Pro. My wife and I have our two user accounts on both and we are both configured as admin. But we are unable to copy stuff from our personal documents, etc. folder to one another. It seems in spite of the fact that we do have admin rights, we could not copy stuff from our own user folders to the other.

How do we correct this?

Appreciate the help.
 
That's basically the way the directory structure is set up. You are admin over your account but not another admin account. Of course enabling root would override this, but is not recommended because as root you could trash the whole system and the OS would let you. There are ways but enabling sharing and using the drop box would be more effective unless you might just want to share an account.
