using mail app

the mail program seems really useful, but i use a yahoo account. to link it to my account, i have to have a premium service from them. does anyone know another mail program i can use that's free AND i can forward my mail from my yahoo account to? thanks.

There is no way to view your Yahoo! Mail anywhere else except on the web, it won't allow you to forward either, unless you have premium service.
I would switch over to Gmail, where you can view your mail on an email program.
If you want a Gmail account, just PM me your email address, so no one else can see it, and i'll send you an invite.
If you choose to use Gmail, follow these instructions on setting up your email prgram for receiving Mail from Gmail.

Gmail no longer requires invitations, it's open to all.

MacFreePOPs is a stand-alone app which allows you to download your emails from web-based mail services like Yahoo, hotmail and Gmail.

If you have the option to Forward emails on Yahoo, just forward to another email account you can access from Mail.
