We use 2 PC in our company with the rest of the machines macs with a macOSX Server. The PC connect OK but do not like filenames with certain charcters i.e / ..... Is there a unix script that will change certain characters to another defined character for a whole harddrive ??
good question, I've been screaming at employees for years warning them this would happen some day, that some day we would have to rename hundreds of thousands of files. Now it's MY problem. Isn't that great.
