The above modem does not work with 10.4.3 - it would appear that MACS have a general problem with such USB devices. [my current workaround is to use a PC as the internet gateway] .
I have tried this with the latest driver downloaded from the web as well as on two machines - a Powerbook and and a Powermac. The modem is not recognised at all even thought the software installs - support for the mac from the ISP is vritually non existent.
In terms of history, the modem has been working at some point with the driver up-date but then failed to work, however, I am not sure at what point that problem occured using auto-up-date and mostly having used the PC as as gateway / IP server.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Kind regards,
Tom
