Hello.
My name is Lolita, I am the video editor for a very important Tv Show in Puerto Rico. I have a Mac OS X 10.2.8, Memory 2 GB, Processors: Dual 1.42 GHz Power PC G4, Build 6R73. The show is One hour long. Consists of many single clips (commercials) of 1.30 minutes duration each. In One hour of show there is around 45 to 55 clips in a single Sequence/Timeline.
The problem is that when exporting to tape, DVD or any other external, at some point it just stops!!! sometimes for as long as 5 seconds..... I need to know if there is something I can do to understand why.....I cancel the display screensaver, etc. Also the auto-save.... I think it is some kind of task the machine/HD performs...
Also I would like to upgrade to 10.3, but I can't find it...
