Video Overlay

Does mac use video overlay? I have an intel imac, with X1600 radeon, doesn't it use video overlay, and why are dvds so jerky when played from dvd player.

Erh... It "overlays" the video over your desktop if you put it to full screen... What do you _mean_ exactly? What is "jerky" about it?
