viewing korean sites?

I'm currently using tiger and using safari to view websites (ex. www.mydahong.com) but i cant seem to read the letters; all i see are weird encryped letters/symbols. I've tried going into general to make the laptop korean but failed so thats why i'm here to ask.

Works fine here. Under the View menu, what text encoding do you have selected? "Default" should work. There should also be three specific Korean settings. Do any of them work?

I'm not sure what you mean by "going into general". Can you elaborate?

If all else fails, it might help to use the installer on your Tiger DVD to (re-)install the foreign language support.
 
Oh thanks it worked, It was on default but I still couldnt see until I choose the text encoding and selected korean. Thanks again.
