Virginia Tech Macs for sale

With 4 GB of RAM? I don't think so. And it's still a great deal for those not involved with education.

Oh... they took the RAM out. Never mind on that. But it's still a good deal if you can't get the discount.

Decked out as they are selling it, a new PowerMac (with educational discount) comes to $2,898 (1gb ram, no modem). So despite the fact that it isn't that much of a decrease for the educational market, lets not forget for most users that same new PowerMac comes to $3,220. In that light, it is a very good deal, especially considering that it is not only a very nice computer, but also something that contributed to the title of "3rd fastest supercomputer in the world".
