Virtual Folder / similar to iTunes playlist but not Smart Folder

Hi

I would like to create a Virtual Folder similar to an iTunes playlist but for files. Is this possible? I would like to choose which files to place there but not use Smart Folder as it searches itself.

I just bought a 4GB flash card and would like to transfer some files whenever I take my laptop.

I'm not sure what you mean by it searches itself because smart folders are made just for what you want.

Smart Folders are only populated by files that meet your critiria, right?

I would like to manually select files to put into my file "playlist" like in iTunes but only for files.

You can use colour labelling as a criteria too.
Simply change the colour of the label to, say, red.
You can then populate a smart folder with all red labels.
