virtual PC 5.04 does not print

I have it set up with Windoze Me and the Epson Stylus Pls 740 is correctly installed. The same printer works fine under Mac OS X

When I print in VPC, I see the print job being processed and when I minimise the PC and go to print center I can see the job printing but either nothing comes out at all or one page is printed with some very tiny black marks at top left and bottom right of the page.

Anybody know what is the problem or how/where to get a solution?:(
 
Since I had installed my own windoze version, it did not come with the required driver for the VPC emulated printer which is EPSON AP-3260....once I installed that "simple printing" worked.....but it is not very good quality.

With quite a few restarts and a visit to Epson website to get the latest drivers for the 740 I was able to get the USB "Advanced printing" working....this is much better.

A case of go slow, be methodical and RTFM!
